Minecraft stuck on downloading terrain 1.8

I'm trying to log on to topfind247.co and I can get into the HUB server alright but after I click a server it always says 'Downloading Terrain' and I usually get stuck on that screen for about 5 minutes or I crash. I am using Minecraft , no mods installed. Is this the server or just my connection? I also enabled the resourcepack on my server list.  · Im STUCK! STUCK! Help me guys!
